What is a Virtual Tour?

A Virtual Tour (VR) is a collection of single panoramic images (also often called "scenes") of an existing place that can be viewed online. The collection of panoramic images or scenes are played in sequence to view like a moving video with capability of added sound and text effects.

A Virtual Tour is designed to give the viewer a 3D view and a being-there-feeling of the location being presented in the tour.

Sometimes a Virtual Tour may also be called a panoramic tour.
